King & Saint Café was born from a vision - to create a space where artistry, flavor, and fellowship meet under one
European-inspired roof.
Founded in 2024 by the owner of Renaissance Events Complex, the café began as an idea to transform the top floor of the historic building into a charming European-style retreat for the Shippensburg community.
In January of the same year, renovation began as a true family project, with father and son working side by side to bring the dream to life. Later that year, Andrew York joined the team after learning about the project through St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Chambersburg, PA. With more than five years of experience in the specialty coffee industry, Andrew infused the café with his passion for craft, hospitality, and the stories behind every cup.


To complete the vision, Chef Paul Cline came aboard, bringing his expertise in fine cuisine and love of fresh, organic ingredients. Together, the team crafted an experience that blends European charm with local warmth... from flaky French pastries and rich espresso, to soulful music and thoughtful design.
Every detail of King & Saint was designed with intention — from the soft Parisian lighting and handmade tables to the carefully curated playlist that fills the space each morning. The team’s goal was simple: to create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and personal. A place where students can study by the window, friends can gather over brunch, and guests from the events below can linger a little longer, savoring good food, good company, and the quiet beauty of the moment.

At King & Saint Café, excellence begins with purity. From day one, our philosophy has been simple... if it’s not natural, it doesn’t belong here. Every ingredient, every bean, every detail reflects our commitment to authenticity and care.
We proudly source our coffee from ethically responsible growers, ensuring every cup supports both sustainability and fair practice.
Our house-made syrups are crafted by hand in small batches, using only organic ingredients. Never artificial flavors or preservatives. Each morning, our pastry team headed by Chef Paul begins from scratch, creating French-inspired baked goods made exclusively with organic flours, butter, and sugars.


This devotion to quality hasn’t gone unnoticed. King & Saint Café was recently nominated for “Best Bakery in Franklin County”, a recognition that reflects not just our recipes, but the heart behind them.
